Responsibilities 

  • Generate investment product sales through a pro-active calling program aimed at developing and cultivating relationships with financial intermediaries in the assigned territory.
  • Maintain relationships with key regional and home office personnel that can help the sales effort by providing endorsements and/or specific leads.
  • Maintain in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of all investment products, platforms and markets.
  • Help monitor and manage daily sales activities of Internal Sales Associate.
  • Participate in other projects as requested by management.  

Qualifications  

  • More than 10 years of experience in investment product sales
  • Series 7, 63, 65 and 66 licences required, or must be promptly obtained after start date
  • MBA and/or CFA, CIMA, CFP preferred
  • Excellent sales and presentation skills
  • Complete understanding of investment products (Mutual Funds & SMA's) and how to position them for maximum effectiveness with different audiences
  • High degree of energy, motivation and ability to set own priorities
  • Sustained superior sales production record
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others to accomplish objectives
